Delaware’s drop from perennial number one to 11th in ILR’s 2017 Lawsuit Climate Survey: Ranking the States should serve as a “wakeup” call for the state, said ILR’s Bryan Quigley to WHYY in Philadelphia.

“I think this is a wakeup call for Delaware,” Quigley said. “I think it’s an opportunity for them to look at their courts and their laws, and more importantly, who’s competing with them, what the other states are that have passed them, because at the end of the day this is more about Delaware sticking in place while other states are passing them by.”

WHYY is just one of many state media outlets to report on their state’s ranking. Business outlets like the Chicago Business Journal and the Kansas City Business Journal, and local radio station Illinois Public News Service, among many others across the country.
